National Donut Day!
It’s National Donut Day and St George Utah has some amazing locations to join in on the donut festivities!
Check out the A-List article from StGeorgeNews where Ali Hill notes the top spots for grubbing down on some delicious donuts!
Here’s your go-to guide to my favorite donut stops in St. George:
Aka donut heaven. Their made-from-scratch selection is to die for & You HAVE to try their Texas sized donut. (It’s literally a glazed donut the size of my face and is only $1.49.) Some other fun ones to try are the maple bacon donut (yes real bacon on top) and the PB&J donut.
TIP: They don’t accept cards, so bring cash. The bakery closes at noon, but their donuts are sold all around town! You can find them at Fabulous Freddy’s, Swig, Cravings Bakery (Dutchman’s Market), Lightfoot’s, First Stop, and several other retailers.
TIP: They have a limited amount everyday, so get there early. If you live in Ivins, these are also delivered to the Red Mountain Market every morning of the week except Sunday.
TIP: Green Valley Market and Red Mountain Market are both places that carry Dunford. If you’ve discovered them at other places around town, DO TELL!
These made-to-order cake donuts are tasty treats and a fun experience overall. You can try anything from french toast to s’more donuts! I’m obsessed with the caramel bliss and the carnival.

TIP: Eat them while their hot! Use a fork and knife and share a dozen different ones!
These tiny bite sized donuts are a dream come true! I’ve only tried their cini-mini’s, but their oreo and double tella specialty flavors are next to try on my list.

TIP: They roll back and forth between Cedar City and St. George, so follow them onInstagram to see their schedule.
Donut forget to celebrate!
For what it’s worth, I am scarfing down on some Dunford Donuts- Chocolate cake with chocolate frosting as we speak. My keyboard is covered in brown frosting, and my coworkers are hovering over my shoulder. Needless to say I am happy I participated in National Donut Day 2015!
